Starting its activities in 1975 in the Mehmetçik (Galatya) area of North Cyprus, our company is well known for producing traditional Cypriot spirits . Our Heritage
The company’s history goes back much further than 1975. Our company was founded deep in the Galatia Valley, famous for its golden grapes, and the cultivation of these grapes has been passed down from generation to generation. For many years, the family focused on producing alcoholic beverages with excellent table grapes, such as the famous “Galatian grape,” which is popular with many international tasters, mostly in England.
The Evolution of MEY
In 1975, with the establishment of MEY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE INDUSTRY LIMITED, the century-old beverages Zivania, Brandy, Rakı and Grape Vinegar began to be produced and bottled in advanced and well-organized facilities.
Later, we expanded our collection by selling Vodka, Gin, Liqueur and Whiskey made from first-class ingredients sourced directly from the best British and European companies.

Northern Cyprus Facility
Established in 1975, Mey İçki’s Famagusta Facility produces beverages using modern technology on a 10,000 m² area. With its strategic location near the port, the facility is a cornerstone of the brand’s success in both domestic and international markets.
Mehmetçik Viticulture - Winery Facility
Mey İçki’s 20,000 m² facility in Mehmetçik has an annual production capacity of 3.5 million liters of raki and zivaniya. Combining heritage with modern techniques, the facility is a premium production center.
Manisa Facility
The Turgutlu Facility, established on an area of 30,000 m², operates with an annual capacity of 5 million liters. With its fully integrated structure and copper stills, it is a strategic center that shapes the character of Anadolu Rakı
Edirne Facility
Mey İçki’s facility in Edirne produces with a capacity of 3 million liters and 1,500 acres of vineyards. Located on the European border, the facility is a strategic center that processes Papazkarası grapes using modern techniques.
